The government has introduced a new system for small taxpayers, allowing them to make electronic payment of their income tax for up to an annual income limit of Rs 200,000. Small taxpayers who have annual transactions of up to Rs 2 million and income tax of up to Rs 200,000 will be able to file their tax details and pay income taxes through mobile apps or other electronic mediums or directly to the designated bank branches.
